A Pittance of Time

A simple contribution as my first here at Outside the Box, with a simple message. No matter what you think of today’s wars, you simply can’t overlook what was done in World War II. Sadly, as less veterans walk our planet, there are that many more excuses floating around that justify forgetting what was once so vital. It’s important to keep the ceremonious “pittance of time” close to our hearts… hopefully in order to be thankful, not just to respect those who died.

Happy Remembrance Day, folks! 🙂

    That’s a good song.

I post something suitable on Remembrance Day every year — except this year! I’m glad you thought to do it.

    Stephen and McSwain:

Glad you liked the video! I saw it a while ago in a school Remembrance Day assembly, but forgot all about it back then. But today at my grandparents’ church, we watched a slideshow of all the families affected by the war in the church, which closed off with this. It brought it back to mind, and I figured it was worthy of sharing!
