Obama, fried chicken, watermelon

This mailing was sent out by a Republican women’s group in California.

The October newsletter by the Chaffey Community Republican Women, Federated says if Obama is elected his image will appear on food stamps — instead of dollar bills like other presidents. The statement is followed by an illustration of “Obama Bucks”.

Obama bucks

Sheila Raines, an African-American member of the club, was the first person to complain to [the group’s president, Diane] Fedele about the newsletter. Raines, of San Bernardino, said she has worked hard to try to convince other minorities to join the Republican Party and now she feels betrayed.

“This is what keeps African-Americans from joining the Republican Party,” she said. “I’m really hurt. I cried for 45 minutes.”

We can’t blame McCain or the Republican party establishment for this one. It was a small mailing, evidently the idea of a single racist individual.

But it’s the sort of thing that happens when you divide the electorate into “us” and “them”. As Sarah Palin clearly did this week, when she said she likes the pro-America parts of America.

I read the PE article and the slew of racist trash comments under it. I realize that there are bad Democrats and bad Republicans, but Diane Fedele and her like, are the most vomitous bags of scum that ever walked the planet. Anyone that actually takes her pithy stupid apologies seriously should get their head read. I have republican friends that find this so revolting they want Ms Fedele hung drawn and quartered.

Personally I can’t believe there is someone that DUMB in a position of respect anywhere. 10 buck no 50 bucks says she goes home at night and complains about all the N_g_rs in the party

Many Republicans now want her thrown out of the party from the roof of 310 1st street Washington DC.

You mean don’t believe her when she says that she “never connected” the watermelon and the fried chicken with Obama’s race?

She says, “It was just food to me. It didn’t mean anything else.”

Gee, Bill, why ever wouldn’t you take her at her word?

And I suppose she dressed him in a jackass suit because she has an extremely high regard for jackasses.

I remember the first year I taught–I was one of only four white teachers in the school, and the black student population was about 98%–and another white teacher brought in lunch for her students as some kind of a reward for good behavior. She brought in KFC and watermelon and ice cream and then seemed baffled in public when the few black teachers who used to talk to her no longer did. Then she tried to laugh about it with me and another white teacher in the faculty lounge once we were alone. It was tiresome and terrible. Especially for her third graders who will one day look back and realize how they were mocked by their teacher.

If Fedele didn’t get it, she’s the most benighted American ever. If she did, she has a pair of brass ones under her tailored suit.

Laurence Herman “Gus” Versluis (his 9th great-grandmother is black), James Frederick Fayard (his 7th great-grandmother is black), Judy Canova (her 7th great-grandfather is black), Diane Canova (her 8th great-grandfather is black), Hank Williams (descendant of Francis Skipper and his black wife), George Galphin’s and Adam Rogers’ ancestors are not going to like this due to the racist material.

    Lydia:

There’s no such thing as white blood. All human beings have the same blood, which is why interracial blood transfusions are possible.

If you’ve ever received blood, odds are you’ve got some black blood in you. Booga booga!
